Watsons YOU Awards Grand Finale Season 4 - 2011

The big day for all of us which is we are in the Grand Finale...!! The day that awarding Engaging Eyes,Luscious Lips,Healthy Hair,Body Beautiful,Friendly Face (Female), Hip Hairstyle(Male), Fit Figure and Friendly Face(Male) winners....there were 24 finalists and only 8 will be announce as the winner represent each category and stand a chance to win RM3000 cash plus trophy and bright future to be the spokesperson for the sponsors products..

As you all know..I have been categorized under Engaging eye category...have to compete with Emmy Lai and Sophia Liana...throughout this Watsons YOU Awards...we have to undergo many types of challenges such like Facebook Challenge..Voting Challenge..Charity Event...and Grand Finale itself...

Grand Finale Begin at 11am..but we asked to come earlier for make up session...the day before finale..me and my group members were trying all out to practice our dance lead by JK..we dance in 3 songs...we practice so hard...in order to perform well in grand finale...cause it will contribute marks as well...besides,we should prepare ourselves with Catwalk and prepare some knowledge for the Q& A session...

This event gave me some new experience...to be on stage...catwalking...performing...and juz have fun with other finalist..everyone wish to be the winner..same goes to me...but what is much more important to me is The Experience gained...no matter who is going to the winner...even its not me..I just believe in myself and believe in talents that i have...given from GOD...it was so precious and i need to use it in the correct ways...

The event was ended around 2pm..I'm unlucky to be the Engaging Eyes winner but i am already the winner in my family's heart...that was such a lovely and motivational words from my mom..Love you mama!! kakak appreciate what all of you done for me...thanks for coming to the finale and giving me endless support..

I want to take this opportunity to thanks all of you...especially my beloved friends..cousins...and anyone who has voted for me...May GOD bless you...and thanks to my dear lovely team members who always here for me in this event and thanks to all my other competitors...for those who won..Congrats babe!! YOU deserve it..YOU Awards Watsons is an awards who awards us based on our the uniqueness..Be proud for who u are ok..c u again next time..i'm gonna miss these things....

Charity Event with 

Watsons at (Kajang)

The event held in kajang area...and the day begin with gathering with my team members at SEGI College Kota Damansara...we car pool to go there..there were Brian as our pilot..JK as our co-pilot and 4 friendly girls at the back bersempit2 with taufiq...luckily he's just in small size...so that can give us (me..nijuin..dayang n lin) space..it was really fun to have them with me...i feel so bless...thanks Allah for giving such an amazing friends to be with....

We reach the Openhands Home at 10am...while waiting for caroline(nan) to arrive...we have some short briefing from JK about what he had planned for our group in this charity event..he's our leader and he lead us successfully....

We started our charity event with...let them knowing each n everyone of us and what is the purpose we are being there...represent watsons for sure la kan.. we get to know all the kids there...and they were ask to choose kakak n abang to be with...especially to guide them in games afterward..

We are having fun with them..playing around..all of us shared some useful tips on how to take care ourselves..especially the hygiene...and proper way how to take good care of our eyes..hair..face..lips and so on.....at 1pm...we have some short break...the kids having Mac Donald meal...they have fun with us...they enjoy themselves damn much...and they wish us to come again some day...

What i have found out through this event is like...i am fortune enough by still having papa n mama who loves and care for me...but when look at them...i feel so sorry...they live happily with friends but not with their own happy family...I wish that...they will be strong enough to face all the challenges...

I want to see them being a good person one day...before i leave..i manage to give some advice..give some motivational words to them..."being here is not the worsen part of your life but it is a chance given from GOD to make you feel much loved and care from your friends...remember to study smart..and be a Better person in the future..you are Born with your own Uniqueness..Talent..and so on...So BE proud for who u are.."

First Event : Watsons Bootcamp

Venue: Jaya 33 Square,Section 14 Petaling Jaya

Time : 9am-6pm

Attendant: 24 finalist YOU Awards Watsons (8 categories)

A day before bootcamp, scha already refer to the google map to find out where the place is actually located since scha never been there..tengok punya tengok that map given..still cant get the location...I call and ask my friend and luckily..he know where it is..cause he is so familiar with that place.he gave me the easiest way to go there..I just take about half an hour from my house by using federal highway.. thanks dear :)

On that morning..I reach there almost 9 o'clock.Registration is a MUST before entering any event or function or even camp.So..I did register myself at the registration counter and I got 2 Watsons shirts..I need to change it right after I have it with me.I'm rush and get myself changed into that given shirt...Nice one! it suits me..and starts from there..i get to know lots of new friends..Some of them are very2 friendly but some of them ada jugak yg pendiam..like a bit sombong one..mybe sbb bru kenal kot kan..so far...everyone looking nice in that watsons shirt.. :)

The camp begin with the speech from the editor of MYC, Mr.Jason Ko...He welcomed all the finalists.soon after that..we need to introduced ourselves to one another.Then we have a game which it tested our IQ.if we can remember all the names of the finalist we could win.We have divided into 2 groups which we have to guess what is the name of the selected finalist that being present for each group.The game was fun.Unluckily, my team not winning that game..but anyhow we enjoyed it damn much.

The clock turns 11am..the first person who is going to give a talks arrived. He is Bon Zainal Harun.The famous & experienced fashion designer.He gave us talks regarding on Grooming. I learnt so many things about proper attire,shoes,colors,design and the suitable dress or clothes for functions.as well as the physical appearance as it may be the first impression once we meet people.ALWAYS BE PRESENTABLE wherever you go. It shows your attitude and your personalities.. :)

The second person came in and she is Stephanie Lai. She gave us talks on how to be Confident in front of the crowd.She help us overcoming our nervous..she teach us the way to deliver speech..the way to talk..the facial expressions..the smiles and so on regarding how to be Confident enough on stage.I love her voice especially when she used her voice during our hypnosis session with her. :)

Its already noon..time for us having lunch..but before having lunch..we have some briefing from the sponsors such as Maybelline,Loreal,Nivea,Horley's,Sunsilk,Loreal MEN Expert,Olay,Gatsby.We get some free stuff from the sponsor.I got Maybelline Eye Studio Brown Eyeliner and Cat Eye Mascara which both are nice to have..Then we have been divided into 3 groups which this group will remain till the grand Finale.Really2 grateful enough to have lovely frenz like Nijuin Chan(Luscious Lips),Caroline Tan(Beautiful Body),Nurfadzlin(Friendly Face-Female),Dayang Nurul Syahida(Healthy Hair),Bran Thomas(Friendly Face-Male),J.K Lim(Fit Figure) and Taufiq Hanafiah (Hip Hairstle)..They are so cool and so good to be friend with..You guys are the best...heart you guys!!

The second last session is a talks with Miss World which is Nadia Heng.She is so beautiful and very2 down to earth.She share her experience and her feelings while she still ine the competition.The last but not least,The World Model Amber Chia came and sacrifice his weekends just to share some tips with us.She is so nice person and she taught us lots of things especially regarding catwalks and the way to highlight our Uniqueness.I feel so glad to have all of them here in bootcamp..Shared with me many useful tips and make me feel more confident in front of the crowd.remind me for NOT being the pengecut ME like before anymore!! :)

Begin with the Audition

The story begin bila scha saja suka2 hantar gambar scha for the watsons you awards...before this pun..scha tak pnah dgr psl awards ni...then...at first...saje visit page watsons kat fb...the intention is to see what they offered in the watsons store...any promotions ke...and so on la...out of sudden...i came across 1 advertisement in watsons page itself telling about watsons YOU awards Season4...Awards? Awards ape pulak ni? dah smpai Season 4? Mcm best je..then ada la form kt ctu utk participate and if interested to take part..bole send gambar and pilih category...based on gamba yg scha send..scha rse it more highlight on my eyes part...so scha decide to choose the Engaging Eye category...

Dah slamat send...4 days later...scha receive an email from watsons which they congratulated me cause being selected and invited  me to come for an audition..wah!! excited giler time tu...bcoz this is my very first time joining awards cmnih...serius...in my head...mcm2 yg difikirkan..but..anyhow...the first step is to attend the audition...

Pagi2 bangun...prepare myself...nicely n wangi2...baju simple je...dtg sbg contestants...mcm2 happened masa nk dtg tu..dgn traffic jam on saturday morning? it's a holiday but still jam? OMG...KL was so terrible...luckily i have been accompanied with my lil sis...so tak la boring sgt...

sampai2 je kt times square tu...trus naik level 14 bhgn shopping complex tu..perghhh...sunyi gila tmpt tu...no one there!! gosh! mana pegi tmpt audition tu? I'm asking my sis...camne ni Iqa...adoii....kita dah sesat ni...then I call MYC office...she told me that it is actually at berjaya hotel not the shopping centre one...aiyoo...y dont u told me earlier..dah la tgh nervous...tercungap2 cari tmpt audition...

at last..sampai pn dpn Bronx I...doing registration first...then i have to wait for my turn...to be honest..yg dtg tu smua..woww!!! gorgeous sgt2...mmg xde chance la nk pegi next stage...tgu punya tgu smpai la my turn msuk dlm blik audition tu...masuk dgn confident nya...smile all the time...and try to answer all the questions asked..and I went out...sit again...nervous pn da reda...result announce...and i really didnt expected that I have been shorlisted as the top 5 finalist...

Then..scha pn masuk la photoshoot room...and blaja how to pose in front of the camera....and soon after finish photoshoot...i went back home and wait for the call if let say i am being chosen as the top 3 finalist that will be going for grand finale...
